We write a murder script tailored to your event

• from a local private dinner in a medieval abbey to a full Castle, we'll bring atmospheric locations to you

• enjoy puzzles based on the location of your event (for example, the number of candles above the fireplace will give you a clue to open a chest)

• select your desired time period (from modern NCIS murder to medieval whodunit)

• include your branding

• discover characters based on your team members

 

Immersive

During our murder mysteries we include:

• actors - for your event we’ll have actors playing inspectors, victims and suspects

• props based on your mystery (mortuary mask to be studied for poison, locked chest, journals, mini chemistry experiment to detect poison, secret messages in UV activated inks and more!)

• costumes - all our actors come dressed head to toes in period clothing

• support - we’ll have 1 actor for 3 tables of 7 guests to help them solve the mystery

• from transport to catering, we'll handle everything for you

Set-up

We structure our murders mysteries so the guests are all detectives, trying to solve the murder.

Please find below however an overview of the evening's structure.

Part 1 / our actors set the scene

Actors on stage share the basic element of the story: Everyone gathered - a body was discovered - the police was called - suspects have been identified and it is now up to the guests to solve the murder within the next 2h.

Part 2 / the guests discover the clues

The guests will be split in teams of 7. On every table there will be:

• physical props (see previous page)

• a character sheet for every player. Every player will know a little something specific to them that will help them solve the mystery. They’re more than welcome to dress up for the part and to roleplay but this is all completely optional.

On stage the suspects (actors) will be interviewed twice to share their version of what happened the night of the murder. Once at the beginning by a detective (an actor), and midway through by the guests themselves.

Part 3 / the guests get to work

The guests review the clues and get to solving the crime. The actors are now acting as "constables" (game masters) to help the guests and make sure that they're heading in the right direction to solve the crime. Each constable will be responsible for 3 tables.

Part 4 / revealing the truth

Each team of guests officially submits who they think is guilty, with what weapon, and why the murder was committed. The actors take the stage again to reveal how the evening really went.
